In what turned out to be a physical game, the Connecticut Huskies (10-2) continued their winning ways over the Washington Huskies (8-5) with a 61-53 victory at the XL Center in Hartford. Marred by terribly sloppy play on both sides, Washington managed to be even more careless with the ball throughout. Lorenzo Romar’s squad finished with 13 turnovers and shot just 29.7 percent from the field.
