Watching any last-place team can be a sad affair, but watching the Sox beat up on the Nationals twice in two days made me wonder why, exactly, we have a Washington Nationals team. Frankly, I think we’d be better without it. Sure, the Rays and Tigers have recently proven that teams can even go from worst to first in the big money era. But I don’t get the sense the Nats are going anywhere, ever. I say it’s time to cut our losses and move on.
Why?
