The Jacksonville Jaguars announced the signing of rookie linebacker Stephen Franklin off the practice squad. To make room for Franklin, veteran linebacker Kevin Bentley has been placed on waivers. Signed by the Jaguars last week, Bentley was active for the 20-13 loss to the Houston Texans, recording one special teams tackle. Originally signed by the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Illinois, Franklin had eight tackles in the preseason before he was placed on waivers. Franklin was signed and released by the Seattle Seahawks in Week 7 and joined the Jaguars practice squad the following week.

Report: Jaguars Will Not Move to Los Angeles

The news last week that the Jacksonville Jaguars had been sold to Illinois businessman Shahid Khan was greeted enthusiastically in Los Angeles, where football fans have been without a home team since the Raiders and Rams moved away in 1994. Those fans might not want to add teal to their wardrobes quite yet. The Jaguars will not move to Los Angeles, CBS' Charley Casserly reports...

Jaguars Claim Wide Receiver Taylor Price

Jaguars general manager Gene Smith continues to try and find hidden gems at the wide receiver position. The Jaguars claimed former New England Patriots wide receiver Taylor Price off of waivers on Monday. Price was a third-round pick by the Patriots in the 2010 draft, but never made much of an impact in New England. He only played in four games in his two seasons and only had three...

Jaguars Get Embarrassed On National Television

There is not much positive to take from the Jaguars embarrassing 38-14 loss at home to the San Diego Chargers under the national spotlight of Monday Night Football. Chagers Defense on Attack Mode

Two days removed from landing the job, Mel Tucker last week handled his first NFL conference call as Jacksonville Jaguars interim head coach in smooth fashion. He spoke eloquently to San Diego media about his stout running game. He discussed his defense's goal to be plus-two in the turnover margin each game. Then arose a question of how rookie quarterback Blaine Gabbert handles...

NFL roundup: Chargers rout Jaguars, 38-14

Philip Rivers threw for 294 yards and three touchdowns, burning Jacksonville's depleted secondary early and often, and the San Diego Chargers (5-7) took a 38-14 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars (3-9) on Monday night, snapping a six-game losing streak.

Colts Making Moves

The Indianapolis Colts added two players to their roster Tuesday. The team (0-12) added defensive back Brandon King and linebacker Kevin Bentley and placed Defensive Tackle Drake Nevis on Injured reserve.
