JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- The Jacksonville Jaguars are not going to trade running back Maurice Jones-Drew or linebacker Paul Posluszny. General manager Dave Caldwell made it clear Thursday that there is no fire sale taking place in Jacksonville, which is 0-4 for the third time in franchise history and has scored a league-low 31 points. Caldwell's comments came two days after he traded starting left tackle Eugene Monroe to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for two third-day draft picks in 2014. There had been reports that trading Monroe might be the first step in a series of moves, and Jones-Drew and Posluszny were widely regarded as guys who could be next because they have value. Jones-Drew has rushed for 7,406 yards and 64 touchdowns in eight seasons. Posluszny ranks second in the NFL in tackles with 40. "They're not going anywhere," Caldwell said. "We feel good about those guys being here, nor do they want to go anywhere. They're part of this team an...

Jaguars receive 4th and 5th Rounders from Baltimore in exchange for Monroe

@ryanohalloran: Source says #jaguars will get Baltimore’s fourth and fifth round picks in 2014 for Monroe. That is a steal if you ask me. The former first round pick Eugene Monroe was my 9th best tackle in the NFL in the beginning of the year. That is a good trade for both teams.

Winless Jaguars on path to making NFL history

The most entertaining aspect of the Jacksonville Jaguars right now is the team's mascot. Yep, that high-flying daredevil who talks trash, makes outrageous wagers and occasionally shoves opposing players has produced more highlight clips in 2013 than any of those Jaguars wearing pads and a helmet. He's the best thing going in the River City. And it's not even close....

Eugene Monroe made a slow lap around the locker room Wednesday, shaking handshakes and sharing hugs with his former teammates. It was Monroe's chance to say goodbye. 14 Ways the Denver Broncos/Jacksonville Jaguars Game Can Become Competitive

In a couple weeks we will be subject to what is likely going to be the worst game of professional football every played. It will be reminiscent of many of the top college powerhouses playing lowly FCS teams; the kind of game that is so lopsided even fans of the winning team just want it to be over when the fourth quarter beings. I'm talking about the Denver Broncos/Jacksonville...

Rams vs Jaguars: A Forgettable Face/Off

Let me tell you about a bad football team. A team that consistently struggles to put first half points on the board, and finds itself halfway to a blowout every halftime. A team that has to rip up the playbook every game because they are pathologically unable to establish the run or protect their quarterback. A team that has some talent on defense but continuously loses on fundamentals...
