Jason Bowles Finishes 17th at Watkins Glen for American Majority Racing

  Jason Bowles continued his streak of strong runs with his 11th top-20 finish of the 2012 NASCAR Nationwide Series season Saturday at Watkins Glen International. After starting 27th, Bowles quickly moved up through the field into the top 15.  Following a long race with many adjustments being made to the American Majority No. 81 Toyota, Jason brought home a 17th place finish. “We worked really hard to get a handle on the car all race long, searching for a good balance,” explained crew chief John Monsam.  “Jason did an excellent job racing inside the top 15 almost the entire race.  Unfortunately, we could never find a happy medium on the setup to make a run for a top-10 finish.” Bowles moved up one spot in the points standings to 13th, just 31 points out of the top-10.  The American Majority No. 81 also moved up one spot in the owner standings to 21st.
