The Blackhawks followed the script last night in Denver.
Franchise figureheads Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews notched three-point nights. All four lines and the defense contributed in different ways and to varying degrees. Goalie Ray Emery was good enough to win.
Boom, a 5-2 win, bumping the Hawks' latest win streak to three games, all on the road.

Blackhawks Bury Avalanche
With revenge on their minds, the Blackhawks handled their business in Denver on Monday night. Patrick Kane had another dominant three-point night (one goal, two assists) leading the Hawks to victory. AHL Brawl carries on into the benches
The Rockford Ice Hogs and the Chicago Wolves got into it pretty intensely on Sunday night very late in the third period. The Ice Hogs had a powerplay with 12.9 seconds left and with a 2-1 lead they were intent on letting the clock run out.
Ice Hogs forward Ben Smith was then hit through a door that wasn’t closed all the way by Guillaume Desbiens as they were taking the puck up...
Patrick Kane scores sick 360-backhand goal
Already leading 7-1 on the Dallas Stars, Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane decided to put on a show. Coming down on a two-on-two he didn’t have much to do other than exactly what he did. He skated towards the middle of the ice acting like he was going to cut across the tops of the circles, then threw on the breaks and busted out a spin move and then fired the puck short...
Patrick Kane scores incredible back-handed 360 goal (Video)
Last night, the Chicago Blackhawks trounced the Dallas Stars by a score of 8-1 and Chicago star Patrick Kane put together one of the best goal of this shortened NHL season.
In the third period of play, Kane gained control of the puck and put together an impressive spin-o-rama backhanded goal for his 15th score of the season:
Jonathan Toews Short Handed Goal vs. Anaheim Ducks
Beautiful goal by former Fighting Sioux forward Jonathan Toews as he makes Aniheim Ducks goalie Jonas Hiller look sick. The Blackhawks ended up losing the game 4-2.

This was an easy night for the F**K You Fantasy POTN because we only have one award winner. Yes it is rare but sometimes these things do happen. There is not much to this Monday night but we have one award winner and it was just too obvious and too embarrassing.

Blackhawks vs. Ducks: Battle of Juggernauts
Put your kids to bed at 9 p.m. tonight, because you don't want to miss this match-up. The top two teams in the NHL, your beloved Chicago Blackhawks and the Anaheim Ducks, will face-off at the Honda Center. Not only are they the top two teams in the NHL, but this game features the two the best team records ever to meet after playing at least 25 games.
Although this is the type...
TWICH: North Dakota Senior Tate Maris Waited 4 Years To Play 4 Minutes
North Dakota is a college hockey powerhouse. The school has produced some great players in the NHL, including Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews and St. Louis Blues forward T.J. Oshie. But it’s a backup goalie who made headlines this past weekend.
Tate Maris is a senior goaltender who has been suiting up for the past four years. His Twitter bio jokingly reads “Goalie and...

When the Blackhawks lost two games in a row recently, the question naturally arose: is this a temporary blip or are they going to be merely mortal from here on out?
If last night's game, their second win in two games on the road, is any indication, the answer is: blip. And last night against Dallas, they looked as good or better than they have all year...
Best Defensive Forward
In mid-February I picked Jonathan Toews of the Chicago Blackhawks as the Selke Trophy leader. While he remains a strong candidate, I think there is a stronger Selke Trophy leader right now in Patrice Bergeron of the Boston Bruins. Bergeron has a stronger +/- (adjusted or raw) while playing against a similar quality of competition with more penalty killing time.
Bergeron leads...
The F**K You Fantasy POTN (3/20)
(Thanks to the AP / Duane Burleson for the photo....)
Oh god, we are at it again! It was a strange fantasy night and a ton of craziness ensued. There were no goals that might have been goals, goals that should not have been, and zany comebacks that never should happen. These are the players and/or teams that made us want to go ah F**K YOU! Are you ready? Let's go!
