UFC champ Jon Jones and former NFL wide receiver Chad Ochocinco got into it via twitter on Tuesday. Ochocinco has talked smack before at UFC champion Anderson Silva in the past and I guess it is easy to talk tough when you know there is no way a fight is going to happen.  Props to Jones for sticking it to him a bit here.  Not exactly sure why he sent out that first tweet but my bet is it was deserved. Jones Injury Should Keep Him Out 6-8 Weeks

The doctor on UFC tonight explained Jon’s gruesome injury and informed us that he would need about 6-8 weeks to recover.  Nice to hear this but I still hope they make a number one contender fight between Lyoto Machida and Alexander Gustafsson. PS: These Shoes are ridiculous even for Helwani. Jon Jones post fight interview Watch all fighter video blogs at

MMA Fighter Glues His Eye Shut During Fight

After seeing UFC 159 this past weekend and seeing Jon Jones break his toe , you probably thought you’ve seen everything and then something like this happens. “At WOCS 25 in Brazil, a fighter was in his corner between rounds getting worked while a member of the production crew of WOCS was reapplying glue to a decal on the fighter’s banner. Some of the glue dripped down from...

Jon Jones says Anderson Silva is still the greatest ever, letting the argument rest for a while.

Until they fight, which in my opinion, may never happen, the argument over the next few years will be Jon Jones vs. Anderson Silva. Over the last few years, I was convinced Anderson would have his way with Jones, but after watching Jones fill into a heavyweight frame and throw around Vitor and Chael around like kids, maybe Anderson wouldn’t fare so well against the 25-year-old...

Jon Jones Says Anderson Silva Is Still The P4P Best

Jon Jones has pretty much wiped the floor with some of the best fighters in the world.  Anderson Silva has too.  The debate will rage on until the Super Fight is made, but it looks like the young Jones has grown up a lot in a short amount of time.  When asked if he has surpassed Anderson on the P4P list and this is how he replied: “No,” replied the 25-year-old New Yorker....

Sonnen wants to fight Wanderlei

Chael Sonnen hinted that he might be retiring following his UFC 159 loss to Jon Jones, but those thoughts didn't last for very long.

‘UFC 159: Backstage Pass – Jon Jones vs Chael Sonnen’ (Video)

How does the baddest light heavyweight alive get ready to tie Tito Ortiz for the most successful 205-pound title defenses in UFC history? By singing Rihanna’s “Stay” – a slow tempo love song, of course. Jon Jones (pictured) was relaxed and full of confidence entering Saturday’s scrap with Chael Sonnen. After witnessing his destruction of Chael P., now we know why he was...

The Bones Jones Sandwich Is Definitely Not On The Dolce Diet

This thing looks like a gut bomb that I would want to avoid.  Not even sure what this has to do with Jon Jones.  The guy making this sh*t should probably stay far, far away from eating such items.  Thanks to MiddleEasy for the heads up. Dana White: Jon Jones’ UFC Title Run Better Than Tito Oritz’s

After thrashing Chael Sonnen this past Saturday at UFC 159, reigning light heavyweight king Jon Jones tied Tito Ortiz (pictured) for the most successful 205-pound title defenses in Octagon history. While Jones is still one win away from solidifying his spot as the promotion’s most decorated champion in the division, UFC president Dana White believes Jones has already surpassed...

Daniel Cormier could get instant UFC 205 title shot

Daniel Cormier and the UFC appear to be on two different pages. Cormier seems steadfast in staying at heavyweight, at least for the time being while the UFC would like him to drop to 205. Dana White has upped the stakes by offering Cormier a fast track at the championship.

A random jersey hat trick. The Ocho Cinco.

Behold, a sighting of a random jersey hat trick. What is a random jersey hat trick? It’s a jersey that is customized, expired (the player is no longer on that team), and it appears in a location that is out of place. This Cincinnati Bengals Chad Ocho Cinco jersey is exactly that. Bonus points to this guy for rocking a red white and blue bandana. Ain’t nothing wrong with giving...

Portland Has A New UFC Title Contender And He Goes By "Bam Bam"

UFC 159 had more than a few memorable moments. It was a card built around West Linn's Chael Sonnen, a middleweight fighter coming off of a loss, who skillfully campaigned his way directly into the cage against light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. The day before the event, Nick Catone (9-4) was hospitalized due to dehydration, a result from his strenuous weight cut. His fight...
