Jose Iglesias won over the Fenway Faithful during his time with the Red Sox, and on Monday afternoon, the fans paid tribute to the Tigers shortstop with a nice ovation in his return to Boston. The 23-year-old was well-received in Boston, and he admitted to feeling surprised about being traded to Detroit in the three-team trade, but he is enjoying being back in Beantown and catching up with his old teammates. Iglesias said it’s an “unbelievable feeling” to be back at Fenway after all of the experiences he had with the team. Check out the above video to hear more from Iglesias.
