PLAYERS: Josh Smith
TEAMS: Atlanta Hawks
Although the Hawks listened to deals up until the final seconds, including a 3-way trade with Orlando and Milwaukee, they ultimately decided to keep free-agent-to-be Josh Smith at the deadline.  Smith will remain with the Hawks for the remainder of the season until he becomes a free agent in July.  Talking with the media after practice Thursday, Smith said if he was to enter free agency, the Hawks will be on his list. Looking to be headed for the playoffs, the Hawks decided to kept their leading scorer and longest-tenured player and re-evaluate the situation at the end of the season, sources told ESPN.com.
