Kissing Suzy Kolber:
We had a lot of fun coming up with terrible titles for novels, so we are doing the same for Peter King’s new website. The idea comes via commenter Small Man On Campus, who figured we could do even better than SI’s current placeholder, Kinglandia. Tall order. Venti order. Lofty order. Let’s do it.
1. CC – MAYBETOWN
I feel like the web address won’t work unless you enter it in all caps.
Matt’s pick sounds like something the Bluth Company will try to build in the new season.
2. Sarah – Kings Kastle Of Football Krumpets And Maple Grits
No explanation from Sarah, but like many of her posts, it makes me hungry.
3. Ape – Dungeon of Dunge
4. Flubby – NUGG.ET
If SI moves the server to Ethiopia
5. UM – King’s Things He Thinks He Think
6. Drew – WEB BARON
7. Drew – Morethanalivespin
8. UM – Football Bang! Bang!
You know, as long as they’re borrowing from IFC shows.
9. Flubby – RogerGoodellsPoopTastesLikeStrawberryIceCream.com
10. Ape – Quasi-Grantland-Esque.com
BEST OF MAXIM
AROUND THE WEB
As mentioned a bit back, Greg A. Bedard will be leaving his position as NFL writer for the Boston Globe to join Sports Illustrated. The move became official this morning.
His role at SI will be in at least some way tied to the new Peter King webpage, mentioned by Deadspin earlier this week, and dubbed “Kinglandia.” The site is said to be modeled on Grantland, but will be football...
Because Monday Morning Quarterback creator Peter King is also a writer, Sports Illustrated just made him a million dollar man. Keith J. Kelly reports:
Sports Illustrated has inked a new deal with...

Peter King of SI.com reports that a source has informed him that the Buccaneers would consider trading the Jets their first- and second-round picks in 2014 for CB Darrelle Revis.
King mentions that the Buccaneers are the “only serious bidder” for Revis at this point, and there’s a good chance that this is as far as Tampa Bay is willing to go in the negotiating process...
Another day, another bit of news regarding Darrelle Revis. This time, it comes courtesy of Peter King of Sports Illustrated.
King writes that the Buccaneers do not necessarily need to part with any of this year’s draft picks.
In fact, the source said, if the Jets are willing to take both picks in 2014, Tampa Bay would likely deal its first- and second-round picks for Revis, even...
As we reported earlier this week, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are growing tired of the games the New York Jets seem to be playing in regards to working out a deal for star cornerback Darrelle Revis.
The Buccaneers are still the only team we hear in regards to the Revis trade, and it appears they are not going away quietly. The Star Ledger via Peter King of Sports Illustrated is reporting...
