A new leaked photo has sparked some controversy for an organization that seems to try and stay clear from controversy. The San Antonio Spurs are in the headlines again. A controversial Halloween photo of stars Tim Duncan and Tony Parker holding guns up to the head phony NBA official Joey Crawford. Yes this photo was taken during the Halloween season, but with Mr. Strict NBA commissioner‘s history. It’s hard to tell what enforcer David Stern has up his sleeve.

Tim Duncan and Tony Parker point fake guns at fake Joey Crawford

Tim Duncan has always been thought of as one of the NBA’s genuinely good guys.  He’s been a model citizen in comparison to some of his NBA comrades.  That’s why this picture (as posted on Reddit), taken from a Halloween party this October, is rather shocking.  Duncan posed with teammate Tony Parker with toy guns pointed at someone dresses as NBA referee Joey Crawford. Duncan’s...

Manu Ginobli: Photo of Tim Duncan and Tony Parker aiming gun at Joey Crawford just a joke

Tim Duncan and Tony Parker decided to have a little too much fun at a Halloween party this year, and now they are hearing about it from all angles. As you can see from the photo above that was posted on Reddit and quickly made the internet rounds, Parker and Duncan dressed up as characters from “The Avengers” and held fake guns to the head of a person dressed as NBA officiating...

Grizz's Conley Talks Parker

Ever since the San Antonio Spurs were embarrassed by the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round of the 2011 NBA playoffs, the Spurs have been on a mission against the Grizzlies. Pop praises Duncan

The San Antonio Spurs’ game against the Grizzlies on Saturday was a matchup of two of the top teams in the Western Conference. I do believe in the old saying that you don’t win championships in December, but this was a big game. Winning a hard fought battle in overtime, especially after being down by 13 going into the fourth quarter is going to give the Spurs a lot of confidence...

Spurscast #283: Spurs gone wild

Jeff and I are back with another episode of the Spurscast. In this episode we talk about the latest hot topic after rest-gate, which involves a photo with Tony Parker and Tim Duncan posing with someone dressed up as Joey Crawford at a Halloween Party. While it's making news, Jeff and I both agree that it wouldn't be as big in bigger markets and that the Spurs' choir boy...

5 things to watch: Spurs vs. Bucks

The San Antonio Spurs (14-4) return to the court as they host the Milwaukee Bucks (8-8) tonight at the AT&T Center. This will be the Bucks only visit to the Alamo City. The Spurs are coming off a 105-100 overtime win over the Grizzlies at home where the Spurs came back by 14 in the fourth quarter and forced overtime. Tony Parker led the Spurs with 30 points and 6 assists...

Duncan's Youthful Game Catches Gasol's Eye

At 36 years old, you'd think San Antonio Spurs' Tim Duncan's game would be aging. During the end of the 2010 playoffs, he was described as a "traffic cone" (John Hollinger's words on Twitter).  He looked old, tired, and his game looked diminished to the point where he should retire.  Duncan had another plans though. He's lost plenty of weight...
