After much ado, Lil Wayne is finally going to see an NBA playoff game in Oklahoma City.
Thunder spokesman Dan Mahoney says the rapper bought a pair of courtside seats and is expected to attend Game 1 of the NBA Finals between Oklahoma City and the Miami Heat.
Lil Wayne caused a stir during the Western Conference finals when he posted on Twitter that the Thunder wouldn't let him into their arena, with the team saying simply that he needed to buy tickets if he wanted to come.
Lil Wayne then said he felt ''unwanted'' in Oklahoma City after the episode, even though Kevin Durant and James Harden had offered him tickets.

Thunder player James Harden has become tremendously popular with the team's fans and now they can emulate his facial hair courtesy of a beard printout available in PDF form.
At 23 years old Oklahoma Thunder’s Kevin Durant still has a baby face so in this video of him when he was 17 he looks like an infant! Anyway, someone on the innerwebs dug up this video of Kevin at Seat Pleasant Recreational Center in MD. In the video, you can already see Kevin showing signs of that accessible and cautiously candid personality we in the media and blogophere are...
The great thing about Russell Westbrook is that in every game, he captures all the reasons so many basketball fans hate him as well as all the reasons so many fans love him. On the massive stage of Game 1 of the NBA Finals, Westbrook was no different Tuesday. He hit only one of his five shots in the first quarter and seemed, as usual, about as in control as a speed skater in his...
Playing in his 1st NBA finals game Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant was unstoppable. As the Thunder beat the Miami Heat in Game 1 105-94. The Heat had no answer for the scoring champ. Durant finished the game with 36 points on 12 of 20 shooting from the field. 4 of those field goals were three pointers. Durant also added 8 rebounds and 4 assists.
Previously on “Lil Wayne vs. The Thunder” we saw Lil Wayne claim that the OKC Thunder refuse him admittance and a Thunder team spokesperson told media he simply didn’t have a ticket during Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals. However, Lil Wayne purchased home court seats for Game 1 for the NBA Finals in Oklahoma City and it [...]
Oklahoma City Thunder coach Scott Brooks is widely considered to be one of the NBA's top head men, and with his team just three wins from the franchise's first NBA championship since 1979 and a Coach of the Year trophy already under his belt, he's got the accomplishments to prove it.
But much of Brooks' success on the Thunder bench stems from the opportunity he received...
Another Thunder game. Another time Russell Westbrook makes us ask “WTF is he wearing?”
This time, for Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Tuesday, Westbrook showed up wearing a white collared shirt printed with what appear to be skiers. If you blur your vision it kind of looks like something John Travolta wears in “Saturday Night Fever.” And he also brought back the red glasses...
OKLAHOMA CITY- The Thunder won Game 1 of the NBA Finals much as how they have won a large percentage of their playoff games. To read the rest of this feature and watch post game videos, click the link below to visit playersview.net
Those who witnessed game one of the NBA Finals on Tuesday night, watched as a team evolved and matured before their eyes, from a squad that played tentatively during the first 12 minutes of action, to a team that dominated both ends of the court during the final period, leading to their winning the contest. Perhaps, the Oklahoma City Thunder were a bit overcome with the size of...
The Oklahoma City Thunder did not look sharp coming out of the gate in game one of the NBA Finals, as they hosted the Miami Heat Tuesday night at Chesapeake Energy Arena, as they seemed ill at ease during the first quarter of the club’s first trip to the Association’s Championship round, allowing their visitors to jump on top by seven points at the conclusion of the quarter...
Game 1 off the NBA finals went to the Thunder. But what about the OTHER battle, the fashion one? Russell Westbrook wore a shirt from the 2012 Prada spring collection and of course, personality frames. KD opted for a slim cut suit in black. King James opted for a color mash featuring a berry shirt, [...]
Well, game one of the 2012 NBA Finals is in the book and the story brings back lots of memories. Unstoppable tonight. Look familiar? (Reuters) Of playoffs past. Of LeBron James. But I'm not talking about the false narrative (that I've never floated here) that he chokes in crunch time or can't ever win a championship. (Although I'll most likely go to my grave rooting...
Create a Meme of Russell Westbrook of OKC Thunder!
It’s the finals every body wanted.
LeBron James versus anti-LeBron James, aka Kevin Durant. The makeup of both the Oklahoma City Thunder and Miami Heat could not be any more different.
Miami built their big-3 through free agency in the summer of 2010. James and Chris Bosh upped with Dwyane Wade, which of course prompted this. Meanwhile, just days after...
