The Detroit Lions have officially ended wide receiver Titus
Young’s 2012-13 campaign, as he’s been placed on season-ending injured reserve,
reports Tim Twentyman of the Lions’ website.

At this point the Lions haven’t indicated what exact injury
has sidelined Young for the remainder of the season, though he has been
hampered by knee injuries throughout the year. Earlier in the week the team
announced that they would be without wide receiver Ryan Broyles for the
remainder of the season.
Young had been viewed as a troublesome player, as the team
sent him home at least a few times over the past three weeks due to misbehavior.
On Nov. 19 against the Green Bay Packers the wide receiver purposely lined up
in the wrong spot and proceeded to yell at a coach on the sidelines.
In a corresponding roster move, the Lions activated Kris
Durham from their practice squad to add depth at wide receiver with Young and
Broyles hitting the IR.
