”Pour Some Sugar On Me” could be blasting in the winning team’s locker room after Thursday night’s game filled with major BCS implications.
The Big East has officially come down to the wire and these two have a shot to appear in the BCS despite currently not even being ranked.
Rutgers is coming off their first loss of the season in conference to Pittsburgh, and they are still just one win away from appearing in its program’s first ever BCS bowl.
Louisville can make the same argument since they too are technically just one away from a BCS berth.
Rutgers will lock up the bid to the BCS with a victory whereas Louisville would force a four-way tie with potentially the Bearcats (must beat UCONN) and Syracuse.
The highest rated BCS team would go and there is an excellent chance that the winner of this Thursday contest will sneak into the top 25.
