The Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory is commemorating the city's most recent national championship with a limited edition baseball bat.On Monday, the Louisville Cardinals men's basketball team captured their third national championship in school history with a thrilling victory over the Michigan Wolverines.Louisville Slugger is hoping to cash in on this momentous occasion by combining their expertise in manufacturing bats with the passion for college basketball held by Louisvillians.Each officially licensed bat is laser engraved with both the Cardinals and the National Champions logo. Only 2,013 bats will be sold and each one will be engraved with its own unique number.The back of the bat features every score from every Louisville game in the 2013 NCAA Tournament. Additionally, the back also boasts a championship banner.The bats are being sold for $99.99, excluding shipping and handling charges, and can be found at this link.Louisville Slugger recently commemorated the Oscar Award win of Louisville native Jennifer Lawrence when she earned the title of Best Actress for her role in Silver Linings Playbook.Via Courier Journal
