A Detroit man tried to throw a football loaded with heroin, marijuana, tobacco and multiple cellphones into the yard of a state prison on Sunday, but came up a little short.Christen Deon-Sterling Moore was sacked by prison guards after his throw missed his target and the football landed between two fences and not in the yard where prisoners exercise. An officer at the G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility saw Moore throw the football, and the 32-year-old Peyton-wannabe was taken into custody, according to the Detroit Free Press.Trooper Toby Baker of the Michigan State Police said the ball contained heroin, marijuana, tobacco along with three cellphones and chargers.A prison officer who was in the parking lot saw Moore throw the football and he was apprehended at the scene.Moore is facing possession of illegal drugs with intent to deliver, smuggling and trespassing on prison property charges after his Tebow-like toss. While he has been arraigned, it was not clear whether Moore is free on bond. Each of the felony charges carry a possible five-year sentence. Sounds like he'll be throwing footballs for Michigan State pretty soon ... Michigan State Prison that is.
