The greatest closer of all-time has to have polyps on his vocal cords removed and has announced that he will have the surgery on Friday.
Mariano Rivera’s Surgery Went Well
Mariano Rivera successfully underwent throat surgery to remove polyps from his vocal cords at New York-Presbyterian Hospital on Friday, according to George King of the NY Post.
This surgery will keep Mo from talking for a week or two and then he is expected to be back to normal. This isn’t expected to effect him on the baseball field at all.
