Matt Kenseth has an average starting position of 20.7 and an average finishing position of 14.0 at Loudon

Kenseth has achieved one pole, five top-five, and 12 top-10 finishes at New Hampshire

Kenseth has completed 6,970 of 7,047 (98.9 percent) laps at Loudon and led for a total of 88 laps

This weekend at Loudon, Kenseth will pilot the No. 17 NESN National Ford Fusion

Entering this weekend, Kenseth is currently leading the Sprint Cup Series driver point standings

Chassis: Primary: RK-802 (last raced at Dover)

Matt Kenseth on racing at New Hampshire: “Loudon has been a track that we’ve struggled at for the past four or five years but our last outing we ran pretty competitively so I’m looking forward to building upon that.  New Hampshire is an interesting race track because it drives like a short track even though it’s a one-mile track, and it’s challenging in the fact that there isn’t a lot of room to pass, so track position is very important there.  We’ve just got to run a clean race, with a good afternoon in the pits as well, and hopefully we can have a solid run there.”

Crew chief Jimmy Fennig on New Hampshire: “We’re going to work on qualifying more than we normally do this weekend.  New Hampshire is a tough track because there isn’t a lot of room to pass for position, so we want to make sure that we give Matt every advantage we can.  We have a few other packages that we will try out during practices this weekend of things that we might want to do when we return in the fall during the Chase.  We will unload with the same package we ran last September in our No. 17 Ford since it was pretty good, and we’ll see what happens this Sunday.”
