When you watch a Mets game, your waiting for the defense to unravel, this is the worst defensive team I have ever watched and I've seen some bad Mets teams. It's more unusual for this team to play a clean game then it is for them to have a multiple error inning.I've tried to figure it out and can't, lately, I want to say it's a combination of players out of position, players who don't belong in the majors and the regulars trying to make up for the first two. But let's face it, this team has been playing sloppy all year, I was at a game in May that was tied in the seventh ( 1-1) where in one inning Reyes booted a double play ball and Wright threw a slow grounder away which lead to the winning runs ( 3-1). Delgado dropped a pop-up against Atlanta and Beltran while great in the field failed to slide twice in a week. It's easy to blame Jerry Manuel, he's the manager and should be emphasizing defense while punishing players for their sloppy play. Or as...
