It is sure to be a defensive showdown this week as the Wisconsin Badgers take on the Michigan State Spartans.  Both teams are Big Ten power houses that are looking to make a name for themselves in a seemingly must win situation for both of them.  While Wisconsin currently has a better record than Michigan State, this game could go either way when everything is said and done.  Michigan State simply needs to find a way to get the ball into the end zone consistently. One of the Spartans biggest problems this season has been the fact that they cannot score points.  They are currently ranked #109 in  points for themselves and are dropping by the day.  In their last two games they’ve only scored a measly 26 points.  This is just unacceptable for a team that has such a strong defense.  They need to start working on their offense and looking for a way to get the ball down the field throughout the game.  If not, then they will be looking at yet another loss, this time putting them under .500 on the year. The same can be said for the Badgers, but on a lower level.  They are not exactly the highest scoring team in the league, but they still find ways to pull out the win one way or another.  They are also a highly defense oriented team, but they know how to get the ball in for a touchdown or field goal when it really counts.  If they can keep doing what they have been throughout the year, they should be able to get the win and possibly cover the -7 points spread that the college football odds have given them. One thing is for certain on this game and that is that it will be highly defensively played.  It will ultimately come down to whichever team can trick the other into letting them score
