Insert Dirty Joke Here…The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) heads to Eldora Speedway for the series’ first ever race on dirt. The half-mile clay oval in Rossburg, Ohio was built in 1954 and features 24-degree banked turns. Eldora plays host to some of the largest dirt racing events in the country, including the Prelude to the Dream, Dirt Late Model Dream, Kings Royal, and World 100, all of which attract over 20,000 spectators on an annual basis. Miguel Paludo has never before competed in an event on dirt, but he’s no stranger to short-track racing. In 13 NCWTS starts on tracks shorter than one mile, Paludo has earned one top-five and four top-10 finishes.
What’s Up, Doc?…The No. 32 Chevrolet is once again going green, sporting the colors of AccuDoc Solutions this week at Eldora Speedway. This Week’s Silverado…Paludo and the No. 32 AccuDoc Solutions team will unload chassis TSM-003 this week in Eldora. TSM-003 also served as Paludo’s backup truck in the 2013 season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway.

Previous Race Recap…Paludo earned his third-consecutive top-10 finish in the Truck Series’ first visit of the season to Iowa Speedway, gaining another valuable position in the NCWTS Driver Point Standings. After topping the speed charts in final practice and qualifying the No. 32 AccuDoc Solutions Chevrolet on the outside pole, Paludo battled in the top five for much of the event before finishing seventh in the American Ethanol 200, putting him seventh in the standings and within striking distance of sixth place.
Miguel Paludo on driving at Eldora Speedway: “I’m really pumped about this race, it feels like we’ve been talking about it for such a long time. I don’t think any of us really know what to expect, not only racing on dirt, but also with such a different format for qualifying and pit stops. Our team has done a few tests on dirt so far this year and they’ve gone really well, so I think we’ll be as prepared as we can possibly be. We’ve got great assets with Kyle [Larson] and Ryan [Newman] as our teammates; I’m sure those of us who haven’t raced on dirt before will be looking to them a lot.”
