Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin is unlikely to play this week against the Denver Broncos due to a hamstring strain. He didn't play last week against the Chargers either. He strained his hamstring against the Rams when they were beating them 31-7.Miles Austin has been hammered with hamstring issues the past few seasons. He didn't miss a game last year but in 2011, he missed six games due to hamstring issues. Austin has been actually running the past few days which is an improvement, but obviously he's not able to practice which is big if he is able to play. If you have a fantasy team, I'd advise you to bench him.Austin has been one of Tony Romo's favorite targets behind Dez Bryant of course. Let's hope he comes back healthy and ready to play.Follow @TheNFLInjuryRpt Looking for fantasy football advice?

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin is still hobbled and likely out against Denver

Hobbled Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin was unable to participate in practice Thursday. The 29-year-old Austin suffered a strained hamstring against the Rams in Week 3 and is still battling the injury. Loaded with weapons, rookie Terrance Williams will likely again substitute for Austin on Sunday when the Denver Broncos (4-0) visit Arlington. Unfortunately for “The Boys...

Dez Bryant: I can beat double-coverage

IRVING, Texas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant said he can make plays if the ball is thrown to him in double coverage, which is what Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he would like to see. Bryant stopped short of calling for more passes to be thrown to him, but didn't disagree with Jones' request. "I'll say this, I'm very confident in anything that I'm doing,...

CB Morris Claiborne says he's in transition learning new scheme, takes demotion in stride

For both the Dallas Cowboys and CB Morris Claiborne, this isn't what they had in mind when he was selected in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft, and was considered by many to be the best defensive prospect available in the draft. Cowboys Are Sick of Hearing About Peyton Manning

Cowboys are doing a lot of chirping about the Broncos and Peyton Manning. If this was the playoffs I would say the Cowboys would have a good shot, but since it is the regular season, I don’t think these quotes are going to help. “I’m sick of hearing about Peyton Manning this and that and that,” said linebacker Ernie Sims, who expects to replace struggling starter Bruce Carter...

Romo needs to take more chances to beat Denver

If Jerry Jones was telling the truth when he said Tony Romo would have a lot more say in the game-planning process this season, then it's time for the quarterback to get a little greedy. On the surface, the fact Romo's only thrown one interception through four games should be cause for celebration. His only interception of the season came in the season-opener against the...

The Weekly What-If: What if the Cowboys had beaten the Broncos at any point in the past 15 years?

In the weekly What-If posts, we review some event (draft, game, or whatever) and consider what might have happened if history had been different. This week’s post focuses on the last four games against the Denver Broncos, who have not lost to the Cowboys since 1995.
