Arizona Republic reports, Plumlee is “named as injury replacement for All-Star weekend’s Rising Stars Challenge”. He will be filling in the roster for Atlanta Hawks center, Pero Antic, Antic has suffere 2 early but day to day injury’s involving back spasms, and currently a sore ankle. Miles Plumlee, who played only 57 minutes and 14 games last season with the Indiana Pacers was brought in by Phoenix Suns G.M Ryan McDonough including team-mate Gerald Green during the off season in a trade for Lois Scola. McDonough, confident in Plumlee, gave him the chance to become a true success story, and start him at center. Plumlee, in his first week at Center, was already turning heads. The 6 foot 11 center from Duke, is currently averaging 9.3 points per game, and 8.6 rebounds per game and tends to get a block or two in most games for the Suns who stand at 29-20. Grant Hill and Chris Webber drafted the teams for the BBVA Rising Stars challenge, which also men’t more family time for Miles, and his brother Mason Plumlee, was drafted to Webber’s team. The February 14th game, which iv 9 second year players and 9 NBA rookies will be live Friday, February 14, 9 p.m. ET on TNT.

Suns Inquired About Zach Randolph

The Phoenix Suns have inquired about the availability of Zach Randolph in trade talks. Randolph has an opt out clause in his contract, which he has yet to declare his plans.
