How bad are the Los Angeles Lakers? So bad that actor Jack Nicholson decided to walk out of a game with over seven minutes left.

Nicholson is one of the franchise’s most notable fans. He has been a Lakers season ticket holder since 1970 and a fixture sitting courtside at the team’s home games for years.

On Friday night, he appeared to be so disgusted with the Lakers’ play that he left the game with the team down 103-81 and 7:31 remaining. But that’s not all — Nicholson also took actor Adam Sandler with him.

The Lakers lost 116-101 to the Oklahoma City Thunder. They have now lost six in a row and are 15-21.

On the bright side, at least Nicholson wasn’t caught sleeping during the game this time.

  • Jack can't handle the truth.
  • Big deal, write about something important.
  • lmao @mephisto ..Jack's probably had more pu$$y than you've seen in magazines
  • Maybe Jack has but rumor has it he is not in it for more than a couple of minutes guess he has a quick trigger for 2 things now.
  • Yeah, that's probably the same thing that you said about Rock Hudson until he got aids and died. Do you profess to know what happens in every bedroom in hollywierd?
  • Mephisto, were you treated badly as a child?
  • Jack goes to a game and Adam is with him so he must be gay. No! You are gay for suggesting such a thing and thats sad cause gay is not alright for Jack or anyone else. Gay is sick and so are the Lakers so do you want them to stay the same or get better? I say and Jack says he would hope they don`t stay SICK!!! Oh Adam too. Call him a Biotch to his face, ha ha.
  • This is a scene from the upcoming movie Anger Management 2!!! Go Buddy Rydell
  • Cant say much becuase I have walked outon 2 Sandler movies and a couple of Jacks films too when it is bad you leave
  • Is Jack's leaving more of a commentary in the team or on who is running the team? I think he's really fed up with Jim Buss. Jack knows more about basketball than Jim Buss does.
  • I rather go to a Laker game than a Adam Sandler movie. But the Lakers might win Sunday so they stay in the playoffs.
  • Jack needs another lesson in Anger Management from Adam.
  • Jack and Adam can handle the truth what they cannot handle is that D'Antoni is the worst coach ever making the Lakers play like chumps. He sucked here in Phoenix fo sure....
  • Who Cares?
  • Stupid.
  • No focus, no teamwork means no one in charge and total chaos.

Too many "wanna-bees and too many "used-to-bees. And a whole
lot of B s____t has ruined the Lakers.

Someone ought to look into Kris Humphries who's a pretty decent
ballplayer with a head for common sense and let him tell the
Laker's who to hire to help him win.

  • A jerk.
Nicholson has been wasting his time for 42 years sitting at centercourt for Lakers games.
People walk out of dunkingball games every day at every arena in the NBA.
  • Gee, and I thought people went to the game to actually watch the game. Who cares what Mr. Nicholson thinks about it. If all we had to do was keep track of how Mr. Nicholson felt about the game, we could have save a lot of money. If he grins, they're doing well...if he gets up and leaves with a no-talent actor, they must be doing awful. Who give a rats azz what he thinks? Maybe if we'd stop putting all these actors and sports figures up on pedestals we wouldn't be so disappointed when they fall.
  • If Nicholson and Sandler think the Lakers such and have let them down, try being a fan of ANY one of the professional teams that Chicago has to offer!
  • Time to purchase Clipper season tickets!
  • I THINK HE IS A SICKO...
  • Adam Sandler walking out? He has high standards? Have you seen many of his movies?
  • Typical Hollywood fair weather fans

Magic Johnson has given up on the Lakers

Kobe and Vanessa Bryant didn’t give up on their marriage, but Magic Johnson has divorced himself from this Los Angeles Lakers season. Facing their 6th-straight loss against the Thunder on Friday night, the former Lakers legend called it a season for the Lakers as they trailed by 16 at halftime. “It’s over for my Lakers. No playoffs, no nothing,” The Lakers ended up losing...

Caption the Photo: Kobe & Dwight Howard’s Different Reactions To Being Blown Out

On the bright side for Kobe at least he isn’t getting divorced anymore. Call me crazy, but I think Bean is taking the losses a little harder than Dwight Howard. Remember when Jim Buss said it is 95% that Dwight re-signs with Lakers? He might have been using Romney math with that one. H/T @GrindTymeV

Lakers’ Jordan Hill Out for Rest of the Season

Another day, another injury update for the Los Angeles Lakers. According to Dave McMenamin from ESPN LosAngeles, big man Jordan Hill will miss the rest of the regular season due to a hip injury. Hill underwent an arthrogram test Friday on his injured left hip, and results showed that he has loose fragments in addition to a possible torn labrum, according to the Lakers. Hill has...

Jeff Van Gundy calls out Dwight Howard

While many media members buddy up with Dwight Howard because of his outgoing personality, Jeff Van Gundy is not falling for the act. Van Gundy believes that Howard got his brother, former Magic coach Stan Van Gundy, fired in Orlando, and he’s not afraid to call out Howard when he feels it is necessary. During the second quarter of Friday’s Oklahoma City Thunder-Los Angeles Lakers...

Shame And Confusion: The 2012-13 Lakers

Look on the bright side…The Lakers are gonna get their highest draft pick in years!  Ah, that’s right.  They traded away all their picks through the 2030 season.  It was a nice thought though. I just don’t get it!  But please, spare me all of the excuses… “They hired the wrong coach…” “They don’t mesh well on the court…” “Dwight doesn’t make his free...

Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler leave early as Thunder blow out Lakers (Video)

The Los Angelers Lakers got blown out at home by the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Staples Center Friday night, and even Lakers superfan (and legendary actor) Jack Nicholson couldn't stand it. Nicholson, along with actor/comedian Adam Sandler, used a fourth quarter timeout as an opportunity to head home early as the Lakers were down 103-81 with 7:31 remaining. It was a smart...

Thunder remain grounded after battering Lakers

LOS ANGELES -- There was a time when a 15-point win over the Los Angeles Lakers on their home floor was a cause for celebration. At least a smile or two. Not in the Oklahoma City Thunder locker room, though. Not with the Lakers just a shell of their former selves. Not with bigger fish to fry. These Thunder have their eyes on a grander prize. Oklahoma City built a 20-point...

Jack Nicholson, Adam Sandler Gather Coats, Wave Goodbye to Lakers Early (Video)

We’re not sure what algorithm they used, but apparently 22 points was the tipping point at which Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler considered it acceptable to abandon another poor Lakers effort. Nicholson and Sandler caught Friday night’s Staples Center event, which was billed as a game between the Lakers and Thunder. Instead, Kevin Durant dropped 42 points on the canary-colored...
