Three short weeks ago the Buffalo Bills were in the position to take control of the AFC East when they faced the New York Jets. Now they have lost 3 straight games and are fighting for their playoff lives against the very same team. They are certainly not the Buffalo Bills we saw start the season 4-1. The defense can’t stop a nose bleed and the offense can’t score touchdowns. No more excuses, just win. With injuries piling up, it looks like the Bills are dressing a new team every week. Fred Jackson, Terrence McGee and Donald Jones are all on the IR and won’t be seeing any action for the rest of the season. So what now? These no name Buffalo Bills have just gotten a little more obscure. They have signed RB Tashard Choice, WR Derek Hagan and have promoted Kamar Aiken from the practice squad. After his shaky performance last Sunday, the Bills have move Andy Levitre out from under center and replaced him with Kraig Urbik. Spiller Time! With the loss of Jackson, it̵...

The Buffalo Bills are prepared to let C.J. Spiller be the team's lead running back for the rest of the season. With stud rusher Fred Jackson sidelined with a fractured fibula, Spiller will assume the role for the slumping Bills (5-5) when they face the New York Jets on Sunday. "You want to let C.J. go in and do what he does best and give him an opportunity to make plays...

Little to change w/C.J. as lead

With C.J. Spiller now the lead back in the wake of Fred Jackson’s move to I-R many wonder how the Bills offense might change to better suit Spiller’s skill set, which includes more speed out of the backfield than was provided by Jackson. Head coach Chan Gailey indicated that not a whole lot will be different. “It changes a little bit,” said Gailey. ”...

Saturday morning one-liners

Said Bills coach Chan Gailey of RB C.J. Spiller, “I hope, but I can’t expect him to come out and rush for 140 yards or 120 yards like Fred was doing, but at the same time he’s certainly capable of doing that. We’ll see where this takes us.” Playing spoiler is about all the Dolphins…
