Sportsday:
KC coach Todd Haley pinpointed a lot of his offense's woes on penalties, sacks and minus-yardage runs.
Well, the Cowboys' first drive had everything but the sack.
At the Kansas City 47, Marion Barber was stopped for a 4-yard loss. Then Andre Gurode was penalized for an ineligible man downfield penalty on a screen throw to Marion Barber that the Chiefs read well. Calling plays is difficult enough, but calling something for second-and-19 is impossible.
The Cowboys cannot make these mistakes all the time, can they? Don't answer that.
