The foot injury suffered by Brook Lopez in Wednesday's game against the Boston Celtics is not terribly serious.  However, he will have to miss time.  Lopez suffered the injury in the third quarter of the Brooklyn Nets' win over Boston. According to Mike Mazzeo of ESPN New York, Lopez suffered a right foot strain.  X-Rays were negative, and Nets' GM Billy King says this injury is not related to a previous injury he had to the foot. Lopez will miss the team's next two games. "He's in pain. If he could run on it, he'd be playing," King said.Lopez will miss games against Orlando Magic and the Miami Heat.  He is expected to be ready to rejoin the team in the first week of December, but he will continue to be evaluated. Lopez has averaged 18.5 points per game this season and 6.8 rebounds per game.  It has been an impressive start to the 2012-13 season.  In his career, Lopez has averaged 17.5 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per game.  He has spent his entire career with the Nets, often being expected to be the main guy.  Now he has a team built up around him.The Nets, in their first season in Brooklyn, are turning some heads.  The team is 10-4 on the season and looks like a real competitor.  Lopez's injury may hurt, but at least for now the two game loss is manageable.
