Sportsgirl:
It is almost official…the guy who is equally famous for his all-star football career with the New York Giants as his signature gap inbetween his front teeth, is set to be the next Regis to Kelly Ripa. Michael Strahan is reportedly replacing Regis Philbin on “Live! With Kelly,” starting on September 4th. Strahan was one of 59 potential co-hosts to become Kelly’s sidekick and beat out the likes of Seth Meyers and Josh Groban in the process.
Strahan may be beginning a new chapter of his career, but his past isn’t lost on his fans. He will continue to co-host Fox’s NFL Sunday and his 6 foot 5 frame towering over mini Kelly will remind us all of his intimidating role on the field as a defensive end.

New York Giants' Michael Boley Very Concerned About Missing Time with Hamstring Injury
With serious injuries plaguing the defensive tackle position and headline-grabbing injuries to both Hakeem Nicks and Terrell Thomas, a lingering hamstring issue for New York Giants linebacker Michael Boley has gone largely overlooked. With Beatty out, Locklear is Giants left tackle
Veteran Sean Locklear seemingly is no longer an insurance policy in case one of the New York Giants' offensive tackles is hurt.
With Will Beatty struggling with back issues, Locklear is the projected starting left tackle for the Super Bowl champions, No one, though, is ready to say he will be there when the season starts in two weeks.
Beatty remains a question mark. Penciled...
What New York Giants’ Eli Manning needs to do to become ELITE!!!
Against popular belief, just because you self-proclaim yourself to be elite, doesn’t mean your elite. If that was the case, Joe Flacco and Jamarcus Russell would already be in elite status. Against New York Giants fans and ESPN’s so-called “experts” belief, winning a Super Bowl doesn’t make you elite either, which keeps Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer out of this class...

When New York Giants defensive tackle Shaun Rogers was diagnosed with a blood clot in his left calf, it seemed certain that his season -and quite possibly his career- was over. At the time, head coach Tom Coughlin even said that he was likely lost for the year. However, the Giants surprisingly never placed him on Injured Reserve (IR) and on Tuesday, Rogers re-appeared at camp and...

New York Giants 1st-round pick David Wilson received first-team reps at practice on Monday according to the Star Ledger. Tom Coughlin reportedly said this was a planned move for Monday’s practice, but Mike Garafolo notes the move came on the heels of a poor performance by D.J. Ware in the Giants preseason game over the weekend.
The Giants have been easing Wilson into a larger role...

Eli Manning: What Do the Numbers Say
By: Trisity Miller
Some time ago my fellow writer Michael Samuels II wrote about how the New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning is neither an elite quarterback nor is he a Hall of Fame quarterback. I am a person that lives for a healthy debate, so I am here to disagree with Michael on both aspects of a) being elite and b) being a Hall of Famers.
