The Chiefs and Chargers are playing tonight, and though the Chiefs were the #1 team on my original “Suck 4 Luck” Power Rankings, they have done enough non-sucking to remove themselves from consideration win or lose tonight. So unlike last week, when I had to amend my Suck 4 Luck Power Rankings due to Jacksonville’s improbable win over Baltimore, I have no such fears today. Before we count down the NFL’s suckiest, let’s get our weekly reminder of what the contestants are playing for. Before this past Saturday, we already knew that Andrew Luck can throw, that he can run, that he can tackle, that he can catch, and that he can design tall buildings (while probably being able to leap over them too), but now we also know that he can respond to adversity and be clutch when he needs to be. It's a bird. It's a plane. It's Superluck! (Photo credit: AP/Jae C. Hong via The undefeated and highly ranked Stanford Cardinal faced their first real test of the season on Saturday...

Stanford-Oregon St. Preview

As much as Andrew Luck has accomplished in two-plus seasons with Stanford, he has yet to win in the state of Oregon. This weekend could represent his last chance to do so. Luck and the fourth-ranked Cardinal put the nation's longest winning streak on the line Saturday when they visit lowly Oregon State. The Heisman Trophy runner-up a year ago, Luck bolstered his credentials...

USC Fans Sneak Lewd Signs In Crowd Of ESPN Gameday

ESPN’s “College Gameday” pre-game show made it’s way to the Coliseum in Los Angeles Saturday as the USC Trojans have a big matchup against #6 Stanford and Heisman Trophy favorite Andrew Luck. Stanford Gets "Lucky" Over USC

Right now is their any doubt Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck is going to win the Heisman Trophy.Unless Luck suffers a season ending injury and Stanford folds the tents a la the Indianapolis Colts (And Luck may end up in Indy) the Heisman appears to be Luck's to lose.Saturday against the Southern California Trojans Luck threw for 330 yards and three touchdowns as the Cardinal...

8 Things We Learned This Weekend (Including a Doppelgänger For Andrew Luck That Doesn’t Suck)

Before this week is lost to LSU-Alabama hype, let’s pause to remember the weekend that was and reflect on some of the things that we learned: 1. If you play a historically great 7-game series, they will come. Through 5 games this year’s World Series was on pace to be the lowest rated Fall Classic ever. Last Monday’s Game 5 did a historically dismal 8.8 rating. (The low rating...
