Nick Washington had this elaborate cake made for National Signing Day where he signed with the Florida Gators. Nick Washington hails from Jacksonville, Florida and Trinity Christian Academy and plays safety. Washington ranks as a 4 star safety according to Rivals.com. Tawanda Washington wrote on their Facebook page: Thank you Publix. The cake should say Go Gators! As Washington #22. The young lady that took the order wasn’t sure if we old add a name to the cake due to licensing, etc. next to Washington #22 she wrote (? Can we do this)… And this is the result!! It also looks like the parents of the recruits are bonding on Facebook. How awkward yet awesome.

Since the loss of forward Will Yeguete for the remainder of the regular season, Florida has needed Prather to bring energy and do the little things that made Yeguete invaluable. In the two games Yeguete has been out, Prather has posted a season-high 12 points in each of them, but that’s not where his true value to the Gators comes.
