Not even one of the best rookies in the National League is exempt from one of the oldest rituals in professional sports. A night after Jose Fernandez capped an impressive first season in the majors with a win over Atlanta, Fernandez was required to dress up -- or dress down -- for work as part of rookie hazing on Thursday. While he wore his Marlins jersey during the team's 6-1 loss to the Braves on Thursday afternoon, after the game Fernandez posted on Twitter a photo of himself wearing, well, we're not sure what he's wearing. But several of the Marlins rookies were told to dress up in hot pink tops and tight black shorts, and they obliged. Fernandez went 12-6 with a 2.19 ERA as a rookie in 2013. He was at his best at home, going 9-0 with a 1.19 ERA and is among the top candidates for NL Rookie of the Year along with outfielder Yasiel Puig of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
