The Denver Nuggets are rounding into form just in time for the playoffs. After last season’s first-round-seven-game series loss against the Lakers, the Nuggets reshuffled in the off season picking up Andre Igudola. But a nice connection is developing between point guard Ty Lawson and forward Kenneth Faried. Check this half-court ally from Ty to Kenneth during Nuggets vs. Suns.   Denver wins 108-93. The Nuggets are currently sitting in the fifth spot. If the playoffs began tomorrow they’d be facing off against the Memphis Grizzlies. That would be an entertaining series. Denver currently leads the season series 2-1. Next up for the Nuggets, the New York Knicks are in town. The Knicks are coming off of a blowout loss to the Golden State Warriors 92-63. Denver is deadly at home this season. They’ve currently won 13 straight games at home.   video via ProBasketball Talk

Nuggets Coach George Karl Thinks Denver Should Retire Carmelo Anthony’s Jersey Some Day

Carmelo Anthony does not have many people in his corner in Denver anymore. The franchise has moved on with a younger and cheaper roster that is still winning games at a playoff-caliber pace. Denver Nuggets Positioning Themselves For Homecourt Advantage

The Denver Nuggets are red-hot.  That’s simplifying it and dumbing it down; the fact is Denver is positioning itself to grab the 4th and even perhaps, third seed. Carmelo doesn’t think return to Denver will be emotional

Carmelo Anthony, now in his third season with the New York Knicks, is finally making the trip back to Denver to face the team who drafted him. Melo was dealt to the Knicks in 2011 for Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton and other pieces. Since the trade that shaped both teams for what seems to be the better, Carmelo has still to play a game in Denver against the Nuggets...
