Chiefs offensive coordinator Bill Muir took time in his usual weekly news conference to do a couple things. Kicker Ryan Succop tied the Chiefs record with his 22nd straight field goal when he tied the game with a 23-yard boot Saturday during the first quarter of a 16-13 overtime loss against the Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium. Of course, Succop will have to settle for tying Stoyanovich for now after two of his final three kicks were blocked by Raiders defensive tackle Richard Seymour.

The Chiefs saw the best and worst of quarterback Kyle Orton on Saturday. They saw him throw two critical interceptions, both in Oakland territory. They saw him called for intentional grounding twice in crucial situations. They saw some of the reasons two other teams have given up on him in the last four years.
