Papelbon: A Reality Check Part 2
Earlier in the season I wrote about Papelbon and his struggles. I looked into his stats as deep as I needed to go in order to explain what I was seeing. When a guy has an ERA of 1.85 and 38 saves on a season, he is elite, right? Nope. After allowing his fourth blown save on the season, (three in the last eight attempts), I figure it is a good time for,Papelbon: A Reality Check part 2. So far this season, Papelbon has pitched 40 teeth grinding innings. In those 40 innings, he has given up six home runs to tie his season
