A bloody good play by Nneka Ogwumike, led to an even bloodier celebration. The Los Angeles Sparks star hit a clutch shot in the final minute of the first overtime against the Detroit Shock and then teammate Candace Parker tackled her against the goalpost in celebration. Just one problem: Parker's head caught Ogwumike's left eye and it opened up in a hurry. See the photographic proof below: All's well that ends well, though. Ogwumike came back in the next overtime period to hit six straight shots and keep the Sparks in the lead. Then Parker sealed the deal, hitting the game-winner with 5.7 seonds left of the 90-88 victory. Here's another look at the play, in video form. Meanwhile, the WWE probably has a call in to both of their agents today.
