Wake Forest unveils prototype football helmets

It’s not clear whether these helmets will be used by Wake Forest for the 2013-14 football season or not, but I hope the white one is.  The white helmet with the Demon Deacon logo is a great new look and would look awesome on the field.  The black helmet is decent, but the black on black makes it tough to see the logo and I’m not a huge fan of disguising your logo like that...

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons tweeted out two new helmet concepts, one black and one white, and both are really tight.

Deacons offer second Florence OL

Wake Forest has their eye on both of the tackles at Florence (Ala.) High School. As reported by DeaconSports, the staff extended an offer to offensive line Cole Hardin. They didn't stop there. The coaches also offered Daniel Keith, a 6-foot-5, 260-pound offensive lineman who currently has five offers from FBS programs to his credit.
