Campanaro to lead Wake Forest in 2012
Michael Campanaro may be the best football player in the ACC nobody talks about. Its possible his own fan base doesnt entirely appreciate his overall value to Wake Forest. Hes that good and hes that underrated.
Faster and shiftier than he appears, stronger than he looks, and pretty darn cagey, Campanaro can make things happen in a multitude of ways.
Last season, the 5-foot-10...

Wake Forest Football: Fantasy Recap And Outlook
Overview-
This was going to be an important season for Jim Grobe and his Demon Deacons as they were coming off two straight losing seasons. The quarterback position was in a state a flux with no established starter coming into the year. Tanner Price and Ted Stachitas played sparingly last season and both were average at best, making Wake Forest one of the worst offenses in the ACC...

Mississippi State overcame four turnovers thanks to Ballard’s long TD runs and six sacks – its highest total since piling up seven in a win over Florida in 2000. Wake's Givens big key vs. Notre Dame
The Demon Deacons might need to look to cultivate more big-play options so if receiver Chris Givens is slowed down it doesn't bog down the entire offense.
Givens was held to 42 receiving yards in a 49-24 loss at North Carolina on Oct. 29.
"We just have to get back to our bread and butter," receiver Terence Davis said. "We have a lot of talent out there."...

Demon Deacons Hold Off Blue Devils 24-23
Wake Forest beat Duke for the 12th straight time Saturday, but this one wasn't quite as easy as some of the others. After jumping out to a 17-0 lead, the Demon Deacons watch the Blue Devils score 23 unanswered points before Tanner Price found Chris Givens for a 66-yard touchdown pass with 6:52 left in the game to hand Wake Forest a 24-23 win at Wallace Wade Stadium.

Florida State Melts Down…Again
The perfect foil for Florida State’s decline is Wake Forest. The once-awesomely talented and well-coached Seminoles now lose randomly to ACC teams that were well beneath them even as recently as 2005. FSU’s latest 35-30 loss at Wake Forest is yet another signal that this isn’t the Florida State that was so scary-dominant from the mid-nineties through the mid 2000...
