That sneaky SOB Ruben Amaro Jr. swooped in on the recently released Josh Fogg last week in hopes of turning him into a Phucco and today he claimed Nelson Figueroa off the waiver wire. As you may recall, Figgy is already of the elite Phucco status having pitched for the Phils in 2001 and with the Buccos from 2003-2004. The Mets released him though, so what's that say about his value and the state of pitching depth in the Phillies system? In 7 MLB seasons he's posted a 13-28 record with an equally ugly 4.54 ERA and 1.46 WHIP. Whatever, give me a Phucco Yeah!!! Tonight:Cole Hamels looks to put a subpar 2009 behind and quickly establish his place as a top tier starter once again. He's opposed by groundball specialist Jason Marquis. Marquis by definition- a nobleman ranking next below a duke and above an earl or count. Basically he's better than Count Dracula and the Duke of Earl but some douchey noblemen would beat his ass. Go Phils!!!
