Pitching Strong

Man, I love having a good pitching team.The Yankees' bullpen was one of the best in the majors (well without looking at any stats, and just thinking about how freaking successful they have been...though I believe they have some obscene record when leading after 6), and then Brian Cashman did the unbelievable job of improving it by designating LaTroy Hawkins for assignment and trading for one Damaso Marte.Perhaps even more exciting than the bullpen is the rotation of late.6 IP 1 ER7 IP 0 ER8 IP 0 ER5.2 IP 2 ER5.2 IP 3 ER8 IP 1 ER6 IP 1 ER6 IP 1 ERSo, over the last 8 games, the starters have posted 6 quality starts, and the other 2 games were 1 out away from being quality starts. Overall, the team's ERA since the All Star break is 1.56.It is also entirely possible for the rotation to improve with Jarrod Washburn (who isn't really good, but is probably better than Darrell Rasner).Hopefully Sir Sidney can keep the streak going.
