Ottawa Senators @ Pittsburgh Penguins Penguins Lead Series 1-0 NBCSN, CBC, RDS - 7:30 pm/et Consol Energy Center - Pittsburgh, PA The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Ottawa Senators quite handily in game one. Of course, they also defeated the New York Islanders quite handily in game one. Actually, they defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning quite handily in game one back in 2011 and the Montreal Canadiens in game one in 2010. In all of those series, they went on to lose game two. Winning game one means nothing. Teams come back stronger in game two. The last time the Pittsburgh Penguins won a game two? It was in 2010, in their first round series against the Ottawa Senators. The last time the Pittsburgh Penguins went up 2-0 in a series? 2009 against the Carolina Hurricanes. Can they do it tonight? Game One: Penguins won 4-1. What we said in our recap: The best part of this game was when the Ottawa Senators emerged from the visitors' dressing room and the Islanders didn't. The Penguins immediately found themselves with time to make plays and make moves. Did you notice something else in Game One? The furious rushes up ice that were the Islanders' M.O. were gone. That drop in team speed between the Isles and Sens will make a world of difference in this series. If the Isles series did a number in the Pens' heads, they would have lost this game. Instead they came out all business. Vokoun saw 36 shots and saved 35. Money. The Pens had one shorthanded goal all season, and they now have one in the postseason. Suprise: Pascal Dupuis has scored both of them. Know Your Enemy: Silver Seven What they're saying: Despite playing well in most of the games, the Ottawa Senators have yet to beat the Pittsburgh Penguins this season, losing all four games. It isn't quite a must-win, but it sure would be nice to change that tonight and return to Fortress Scotia at 1-1 rather than down 0-2. The Senators will make two changes with André Benoît replacing Eric Gryba while Guillaume Latendresse steps in for Lord Protector Matt Kassian. Milan Michalek did not skate today but he is expected to play. Pittsburgh Penguins News: Tomas Vokoun is getting his shot. Iginla likes the Penguins. Adams and Letang missed the morning skate. Ottawa Senators News: The Senators are "hoping to tighten up." Sergei Gonchar has Dan Bylsma's respect. The Sens say this is a "must win." Pittsburgh Penguins Lines: Chris Kunitz - Sidney Crosby - Pascal Dupuis Jarome Iginla - Evgeni Malkin - James Neal Brenden Morrow - Brandon Sutter - Matt Cooke Jussi Jokinen - Joe Vitale - Tyler Kennedy Brooks Orpik - Paul Martin Mark Eaton - Matt Niskanen Deryk Engelland - Douglas Murray Tomas Vokoun Ottawa Senators Lines: Cory Conacher - Kyle Turris - Daniel Alfredsson Milan Michalek - Mika Zibanejad - Jakob Silfverberg Colin Greening - Jean-Gabriel Pageau - Erik Condra  Guillaume Latendresse - Zack Smith - Chris Neil   Marc Methot - Erik Karlsson Jared Cowen - Sergei Gonchar André Benoît - Chris Phillips Craig Anderson No idea if Letang and Adams are out or if they just missed the morning skate. Apparently Iginla is back on the left side with Malkin? Do It. Go Pens.
