- The CM Punk and Chris Jericho feud continued at last night’s Golden Gods Awards. Punk won the “Most Metal Athlete” award, and Jericho who was hosting the show snapped the trophy in half. Punk is on the overseas tour so wasn’t there to accept it.

Punk beat out Gina Carano (MMA), Brian Deegan (pro motocross), Evan Longoria (MLB), Dirk Nowitzki (NBA) and Mitch Petrus (NFL).

- Eric Bischoff who gets a lot of flack for not significantly boosting TNA’s ratings, took shot at the UFC’s Ultimate Fighter, which has seen a ratings drop. Last Friday’s episode drew approximately 950,000 viewers, the lowest number in the seven-year history of the show.

“Tons of promotion on Fox and FX, a budget 3x bigger than Impact and 500,000 less viewers?” Wrote Bischoff on Facebook. “Think we came close to hitting these numbers with a couple episodes of ReAction at 11pm on Spike.”

“Impact has a larger audience than ever, and is going to have a great season with new elements following Lockdown.”

- MMA name Tito Ortiz suggested that he may be interested in getting on to wrestling when his deal with UFC expires in July.

“I’ve got a lot of options. I’ve seen Brock Lesnar go back to the WWE, that’s something I may entertain, do some ‘theatrical entertainment’ as they call it.”

Whether WWE are interested is not known. Ortiz is 37 years old and certainly doesn’t have the star power he once had.
