The Oakland Raiders are considering a switch to a 3-4 defense, and that makes adding more linebackers a priority. According to Bill Williamson of ESPN, free agent linebacker Kevin Burnett is drawing interest from Oakland. In 2011, he signed as a free agent with the Miami Dolphins. Burnett has started every game during his two years with the Dolphins, recording at least 100 tackles every year, with a career high 110 tackles in 2012. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 2005 NFL Draft and also played for the San Diego Chargers. Williamson writes: 'They are reportedly interested in former Miami linebacker Kevin Burnett, who was recently cut. Burnett, 30, is a solid starter. He has posted more than 100 tackles in each of the past two seasons. He played for the Chargers from 2009-10 and is considered more of a 3-4 linebacker. While the Raiders have made no indications that they will run a 3-4, coach Dennis Allen has said they could always move to a 3-4 based on additions to the front seven.'   var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});
