Rangers blank Dodgers for second consecutive shutout

It's the first time in 29 years that Texas has held opponents scoreless in back-to-back games at home. Vicente Padilla worked five effective innings, Hank Blalock homered and the Texas Rangers beat the Dodgers, 6-0, on Friday to record shutouts on consecutive nights at home for the first time in 29 seasons.
