TSN is reporting that Rangers have decided against using their final compliance buyout on forward Brad Richards this season. ...while I'm not shocked by the decision, all I know is they better cover him in bubble wrap next year to prevent any injury that would make him ineligible for compliance buyout next offseason. Although, Richards has only played less than 72 games once in his career so I doubt anything bad will happen, right?... ...putting the injury concerns aside, I'm fully prepared for a very motivated Richards to bounce back big time this season. Hey, maybe he'll have such a good season the Rangers could trade him away at the deadline. Remember to follow me on Twitter & Facebook or e-mail me at nyrfan94@yahoo.com.
