Found May 14, 2013 on Pro Football Zone:
According to the Washington Post, the Redskins haven’t made an effort to sign free agent offensive tackle Eric Winston this offseason. The Redskins had some interest last offseason when he was a free agent, but he signed with Kansas City. They didn’t make an effort to sign him this season, our sources say, and yes, price tag does seem to have a lot to do with it. The Redskins could use a player like Winston, but there line didn’t play that bad in 2012.  RG3 and the read-option certainly made things easier for them.   Need NFL Tickets?
