Earlier this month, the college sports world learned that someone at Ohio State allegedly “tipped off” the NCAA on a recruiting violation committed by the Gators. Fans found it ridiculous that anyone at an Urban Meyer led program would do such a thing, given the coach’s history with UF.
Today, Florida head coach Will Muschamp made it clear that he’s not thrilled with the Buckeyes. Both Matt Hayes of Sporting News and Andy Staples of Sports Illustrated tweeted out the quote.
Muschamp. “We appreciate our friends from Ohio educating is on ncaa rules. They certainly know thing or two about it.”

Muschamp: “We appreciate our friends from Ohio making sure we follow NCAA rules. They certainly know something about NCAA rules.”

Muschamp is clearly taking a shot at the tattoo scandal that led to Ohio State’s bowl ban in 2012.
We’re only a few hours into SEC Media Days – expect more fireworks.

Last season, a hard-to-figure Ohio State team turned some quality leadership, a handful of clutch plays and a bunch of good luck into an unbeaten, bowl-banned season.
This time around, the Buckeyes are playing not only to stay unbeaten under Urban Meyer but for bigger prizes. Some big-time talent is on hand, a bunch of winnable games are on the schedule and a team with a dynamic...
Ohio State recruiting has been slowed in the past week or so, as most college coaches are on vacation before the start of fall practice. The Buckeyes do have the Friday Night Lights camp still on the horizon. How do things look on the offensive side of the ball?
One of the biggest names in the offseason for Ohio State was Frank Epitropoulos. No, not longest names, biggest. Due to the decommitment of Johnny Townsend, the highly regarded punter from Orlando, head coach Urban Meyer has been left in somewhat of a bind. The punter is a position that has been highly regarded at Ohio State for decades now. Seen as Jim Tressel as the...
Florida football coach Will Muschamp gave a rather long-winded opening speech at SEC Media Day on Tuesday, but his comment about Ohio State made it all worthwhile. A storm rolled in on Ohio State special teams coach Kerry Coombs' family vacation, and he had to be ready for any and all instances of trouble, like a Navy Seal.
Remember the stories about Ohio State turning in Florida for recruiting violations?Well, Gators’ coach Will Muschamp had a few words for the...

The offensive linemen were a staple position for the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2012. Four junior starters, another senior starter in Reid Fragel, the 2012 OSU offensive line paved way for the 10th-ranked rushing attack in the country a season ago.
Now with four returning senior starters, the offensive line may be the least worrisome group for second-year head coach Urban Meyer...
