Boston College has hired Steve Addazio away from Temple to be the Eagles' next coach.
Addazio, a Connecticut native, went 13-11 in two seasons with the Owls since taking over for Al Golden in Philadelphia.

It is now official. Boston College named Steve Addazio its new head coach. The name should be somewhat familiar since it was floated when we hired Spaz. A day after football coach Steve Addazio departed for Boston College, it was much brighter news for Temple University on the hardwood when the Owls’ men’s basketball team improved to 6-0 with a 76-61 victory over Villanova.
Trailing by four at the half, Temple started the final 20 minutes on an 18-2 run and didn’t allow a Wildcat field goal until after 10 minutes had elapsed after the break.
