Well, that is one way to lose a prestigious scholarship. Yale's star quarterback Patrick Witt's decision to play in last season's Harvard-Yale football game over attending his Rhodes scholarship interview wasn't entirely his own. Witt withdrew his Rhodes application, as it turns out, after he was accused of sexual assault of another student on-campus, according to The New York Times. The student who accused Witt never went to police or filed a formal complaint, according to the report, but the Rhodes Trust learned of the story "through unofficial channels."
