The opener of the super regional series between North Carolina State and Rice on Friday night has been postponed because of rain from Tropical Storm Andrea. The best-of-three series will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday at N.C. State's Doak Field. A possible third game is scheduled for Monday at a time to be determined. The opener had been scheduled for 4 p.m. Friday but was pushed back three hours while Andrea made its way across the state. The decision to wait until Saturday came just before 4 p.m. Friday.
