Our old friend Lonnie Hanover is at it again. The New York strip club vet has introduced a genius marketing plan during the on-going NBA lockout. The Rick’s Cabaret Basketball League. Of course Lonnie sent an invite to our partners at Coed Magazine to attend today’s presser. Of course Coed was there with a camera. Rick’s is planning for their ladies to play 2 games over 2 days – November 17th and 18th. If only they can get A.C. Green to ref.

According to the Rick’s press release:

“We have all been disappointed that the NBA season hasn’t gotten underway yet, and a number of players who stop by the club have told us that they’d pay to see us play in our stripper heels, so we decided to form our own league,” said Gianna, a player for a team made up of dancers from the New York City club. “We plan to play as long as the NBA is locked down. We’ll announce all the details and introduce the Rick’s Cabaret New York City team at our press conference on Tuesday and I guarantee you it will be hot.”

Um, best uniforms in sports. You even want to debate? Just look at those heels. Amazing. And cleav shirt with boy shorts combo. Unmatched. And unlike the Lingerie Football League, we’re pretty sure these chicks are getting naked at halftime.

Of course we’re efforting Lonnie to be the exclusive blog partner of the Rick’s Basketball League. Interviews, exclusive photos, maybe even responsible for the Gatorade shower after the Dallas vs. Houston stripper showdown.

Unreal world we live in, isn’t it?
